The studio above mine holds pole dancing classes.

Every evening a dozen half-dressed women make their way up the stairs to the fourth floor.

They’re always excited to get started, so loudly chat to each other as they made their way up.

There’s always one topic that comes up each week.

(And it’s got nothing to do with baby oil!)

It’s why isn’t the lift working!?

They complain about being out of breath and their legs burning!

This may seem surprising as they’re making the effort to work out.

The problem is, working sometimes isn’t enough.

And a huge part of becoming fit is what you do outside the ‘fun’ of training.

  • Cycling over taking a taxi
  • Carrying a shopping basket without a trolley
  • Standing on public transport

Once you commit to being more active your results will magnify.
